How does scanning with the Reflecta DigitDia 6000 scanner work?
Working with the DigitDia6000 is pretty easy, so we created a video tutorial. Every single step of the digitizing process is explained, you can just follow along of you have any difficulties with the commissioning of the scanner.

How can I prepare myself for scanning with the Silde scanner and the CyberView Software?
On our homepage you can download the manual for the slide scanner and its software. The manual is also included in scope of supply. Every single step is described with illustrations so it's easy to follow along.

When does my renting period start?
Your rental period starts with the first delivery attempt and ends 7 days later. For example: You receive you scanner on the first delivery attempt which is on a Tuesday. In this case you have to drop off your device until the next Tuesday. If you need more time that's not a problem, you can easily extend your rental period.
How can I get additional time for scanning?
You can extend the renal period flexibly for a price of 11,99 Euro/day (VAT incl.). For extending you don't need to inform us in advance. You just keep your scanner as long as you'd like. You'll get an invoice via email after you send the device back. Please check your inbox and your spam - folder regularly after the return of the device.
What do I need to keep an eye on when reiciving the package?
After you received your package please immediately check if the scanner works and if there's something missing in scope of supply. You should receive your scanner in the original package with a small box filled with accessories such as a USB-cable, a power adaptor, a CD, a universal magazine and a manual. If the scanner or other equiptment is damaged, please get in touch with us as soon as possible e.g. via email: info@scanexperte.de.
How do I return my slide scanner?
If you want to return your scanner, please use the return label enclosed in your package. Please glue it visibly on your package. Then bring the package to your local post office. Please make sure to remove old barcodes and labels, so the package won't get lost.
Do I have to leave a deposit?
At the moment you you don't have to leave a deposit. But we reserve the right to randomly execute identification checks.
What happens if the scanner breaks?
During the rental period you are responsible for the scanner. Therefore, we have to charge you for the repair or replacement if it should come to a self-inflicted defect during the rental period . Please clarify before renting, whether your liability insurance pays the damage of rented property. If there are signs of wear or transport damage we are insured for that.
Which Software is included?
We recommend using the newest version of the Cyberview Software, which you can download here. In scope of supply the Cyberview Software is also included. Using this software you can scan slides without previous knowledge.
There is also a professional software which is called Silverfast but after a lot of comparing and testing we noticed that it takes up more time to use this software and is not as easy to handle as the Cyberview Software. Of you would like you can definitely use the expensive Silverfast software but we can't let them because of licensing reasons.
Which system prerequisites does my computer need?
You'll need one of the following operating systems:
Windows Vista, XP, 7, 8 oder 10
Mac 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10 oder 10.11
What is included in scope of supply?
You will receive the Reflecta DigitDia 6000, all necessary cables, the Cyberview software, a user manual, a universal magazine and the return slip for shipping.
I forgot to return an accessory, what can I do?
That can happen. Please send the accessory immediately to FBF GmbH, Winzerkeller 1, 77723 Gengenbach. Include a short letter with your name and address. If parts are missing, you'll receive an e-mail from us indicating what is missing. If you do not return the parts within one week, we will charge you for these (including original cartons or other protections against damage during transport).
Can I also buy a slide scanner?
Of course you can also buy a DigitDia 6000 from us. We can offer you both used and new slide scanners. Feel free to contact us for availability and prices of used scanners.
